PlanetWatch Wearable is a free Android app developed by PlanetWatch sas, designed to monitor air quality levels and build a global network of air quality sensors. With this app, you can connect your sensor and stream data to their platform, monitor air quality around you (PM1, PM2.5, PM10, VoC), and see the global real-time PlanetWatch air quality map.
The app also allows you to see your global PlanetWatch ranking and help them build a global air quality network. Air pollution is a significant problem that causes millions of premature deaths every year. While air quality monitoring is mostly performed via large governmental stations, their data is not published in real-time, and the mesh is not dense enough to quickly detect pollution peaks and analyze the causes. PlanetWatch aims to change this by creating a global network of air quality sensors and environmentally-conscious people.
